Aaron was born in Lincoln and moved to Kearny, NE and Athens, GA before moving back to Lincoln prior to high school. He joined the Nebraska Army National Guard right out of high school and served for 12 years. Aaron is married for 13 years to his supportive wife and has three incredible little girls that keep them both busy. His dad made sure he enjoyed being outdoors, which was a big influence in his life. Aaron enjoys anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, kayaking, biking, camping, hiking, and teaching his girls the same things. 

In addition to being a dad, Aaron also work full-time as a Veteran’s Case Manager and part-time as a CrossFit Coach. He returned to school as a full-time student in 2025 to pursue a career in Fish and Wildlife in hopes of making his younger self, who always loved animals and the outdoors, proud. After graduating in 2027, Aaron hopes to pursue a Master’s degree in wildlife ecology.
