Jade received her BS in Fisheries and Wildlife at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2022, with a focus on wildlife management and conservation. Throughout her undergrad, Jade did multiple independent research projects ranging from herpetofauna studies to hunter human dimensions studies and worked part time positions for wildlife state agencies. Upon graduating, she joined the AWESM Lab in 2022 as a Wild Turkey Technician. Her master's research will evaluate predator occupancy and habitat use in western Nebraska.
Jade is advised by Dr. Sarah Sonsthagen and is a part of the AWESM Lab through her research with the Wild Turkey Ecology in Western Nebraska project.
