Robyn Dausener is a Master’s student in Natural Resource Sciences. She joined SNR and the Applied Wildlife Ecology and Spatial Movement (AWESM) Lab in the fall of 2023. Robyn received a BS in conservation management from Upper Iowa University in 2021, where she evaluated fine scale habitat limitations of salamanders in northeast Iowa. She has worked on multiple projects for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, including non-game species surveys and monitoring, and wild turkey ecology in southeast Iowa. Robyn’s MS research will evaluate wild turkey gobbling activity in relation to breeding chronology and other events in western Nebraska.
Robyn is advised by Dr. Mark Vrtiska and is a part of the AWESM Lab through her research with the Wild Turkey Ecology in Western Nebraska project.
